Elle is a senior editorial consultant with experience across all industries having worked at scarlettabbott since 2017. Passionate about bringing storytelling and strategy together to drive more purposeful and empowering content for her clients, Elle also loves creating lighter content that keeps audiences reading/watching/joyscrolling/laughing. Because why wouldn’t we entertain as well as inform?

During her 12 years at the John Lewis Partnership, Elle won an award for outstanding contribution to internal journalism and pioneered a disruptive communications trial that harnessed the power of peoples’ opinions through citizen journalism.

Elle is also our constructive journalism, mosaic content and screenwriting for animation specialist – and the host for many of our clients’ podcasts – as well as our own.

What lights you up outside work?

“I still get the tingles after a great conversation. Like the hurricane hunter who described the experience as ‘like riding in the front seat of a rollercoaster in a drive-through carwash’. Or the Belgian HR director who told me her childhood dream was to be Mick Jagger. Then I get the joy of turning it into a tale that (hopefully) gives other people goosebumps when they read it.
