Writing, proof reading, editing, and scripting, Declan’s role as an editorial assistant touches every part of our client’s journey, reaching out to people through content creation.

Before joining the scarlettabbott team Declan worked as a copywriter through a wide range of industries, from communication marketing to physiotherapy and beyond.

Aside from his commercial copywriting experience, Declan has put his love of language to use within the music and film industries, crafting scores, songs and lyrics for which he has been awarded a finalist position in the American Songwriting Awards.

It’s this diverse creative experience that he brings to the scarlettabbott team and our clients’ projects.

What lights you up outside of work?

“It could be a cliché but I’d have to say more writing. Mostly music and lyrics. I’m always looking to tell the next story or find that next phrase. And very occasionally you’ll find me playing a show.”
