Terri is a freelance senior consultant for scarlettabbott and brings more than 20 years communications experience in some of the world’s largest financial services companies. She has led and coached successful internal communications teams since 2007 including global ‘head of’ roles at RSA Insurance and Deutsche Bank. Throughout her career she has worked extensively with executive and programme teams at several FTSE100 companies to create and deliver global communication strategies that support their overall business objectives, while also making sure the voice of the employee is always heard.

Terri turned to freelancing in 2018 and since then has worked across several sectors including financial services, supply chain, retail, hospitality and beverage, education, accountancy and large industrial.

She specialises in change management and engagement, strongly believing that the two must go hand in hand. She has significant experience in complex organisational redesign at a global level and has led on several re-engagement strategies after a company or division has undergone a ‘turnaround’ or been through a period of transformation.

Terri is also an experienced events and channels manager, writer and social media strategist. While being a strategic communicator Terri also demonstrates a hands-on approach to delivery.

On a personal level Terri has a passion for wine and is a French Wine Scholar and holder of the WSET Level 3 Award in Wines. She is almost always found with her border collie Rex in tow.
