As a project delivery manager, Alexena utilises her problem-solving skills and creative flare to bring projects to life, working collaboratively with clients and colleagues from initial brief all the way through to delivery.

Alexena's journey to project management was not linear, starting out training in fine art and design before working as an emergency ambulance technician. This mix of creativity and ability to problem-solve quickly uniquely prepared her for a role in operations and project management, where she has spent most of her career, working on organisational culture development projects and helping teams work more effectively together.

What lights you up outside of work?

“I have a passion for making and mending things, especially mid-century furniture. I have so many pieces in various states of repair! I love being outside walking my French Bulldog, Florence. She’s such a loveable diva! I also volunteer for Groundwork Yorkshire as a trustee and EDI Champion.”
