When GVA wanted to boost their people’s engagement at work, they first had to understand how they were feeling. We helped them to create, run and analyse a tailor-made survey, resulting in a series of specific recommendations for making life at GVA even better.
Having been through a period of change, GVA wanted to focus their attention on engaging their people. Firstly, they needed feedback from employees about what was going well and what could be better. This would be GVA’s first business-wide engagement survey, and they asked us to help them design the questions, run the survey and analyse the results.
We worked with GVA to understand their needs. What did they want to find out about? How receptive were their people likely to be? How much time could the business afford to give people to complete the survey? We then helped them to devise a set of questions that would give them the information they needed to make a difference.
With the questions in place, we designed a survey that looked good and was easy to use. After providing regular updates on response rates throughout the survey window, we created a report giving detailed analysis of both quantitative and qualitative results, plus tailored recommendations for increasing employee engagement.
