Using an employee advocacy platform called Powered by you, we make it easy for eBay employees to post branded content to their personal social media accounts. We take their powerful stories and package them up as bitesize chunks.

the challenge

eBay are on a mission to accelerate performance and change the perception of their brand. eBay employees are essential to help spread the word about new features on the platform, employee programmes and benefits, and the positive global impact eBay has in the world.

But even the most engaged employees can be reluctant to stand up and advocate for their brand. So we needed to take the hard work out of sharing content on social media.

the response & delivery

Through an employee advocacy platform accessible on desktop and mobile, we served up powerful stories in bitesize chunks that employees could share across major social media channels at the click of a button.

With quick-fire content formats such as GIFs, listicles and photo stories, we turned eBay’s powerful stories into easy to share social content.

We work as an extension of the eBay team. Staying in contact every week, we have oversight of projects as they evolve which enables us to quickly produce content. Keeping design and copywriting light, we are able to turn around content within a matter of days. What’s more, we have access to eBay’s intranet and digital systems, so we can upload and monitor posts on their behalf.
