Senior IC Consultant.

We’re looking for an experienced senior internal communications consultant to join our enthusiastic, fast-growing team.

We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about the impact that great internal communications (IC) can make, with a good all-round understanding of the sector. Ideally, you’ve got six or more years’ experience in-house or in agency. You’re a self-starter and carry an unshakeable can-do attitude. You’re great at working on multiple live projects from brief to completion, while instilling huge confidence in those you work with by being totally ‘on it’.

You’re resilient, with high levels of personal accountability and a drive to be exceptional – you’re not interested in average. You’re ready to impress our wonderful clients with your organisational skills and IC expertise and collaborating with colleagues is second nature.

Please note this role requires regular travel to the York office.

What you‘ll do:

  • Lead client accounts, project teams and build strong working relationships in the consultancy
  • Manage bespoke live projects, right from initiation through to final delivery and measurement of results
  • Shape strategic solutions and input creative ideas to new briefs
  • Grow client accounts, win new business, network in London on behalf of the consultancy
  • Brief and manage outputs of designers, illustrators and third parties
  • Act commercially, delivering projects on time and on budget.

What you‘ll need:

  • Experience in internal communications; ideally six or more years working in-house or in a similar agency environment. Agency experience preferred, though not essential.
  • Streams of creative ideas and strategic solutions, tapping into your knowledge of communicating with internal audiences in large, complex organisations
  • Creative thought leadership; able to bring fresh perspectives, best practice and innovative thinking to every project
  • Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills with a flair and eye for best practice visualisation and design
  • A proven interest in creative communication, culture and people engagement
  • Ability to bring fresh and smart ideas to every project
  • A focus on delivery – on time, on budget and excellent every time
  • A passion to learn and a desire to drive your career forward.
