Meet Pip Burton, Creative, and condiment enthusiast

Fresh-faced Pip has a superpower ability to quickly pick up all things creative. Here, she tells us all about her big love for Sir Elton and her controversial consumption of condiments.

My Sundays are spent…
ideally with a long dog walk somewhere (including a flask of tea and some biscuits) followed by Sunday dinner and a chill with a film. More often than not though, they are filled with frantic end-of-the-weekend housework and a massive pile of ironing!

 When it comes to music…
my taste is pretty varied. The Cribs, Foals, Frank Ocean and both Smooth and Heart radio stations are my current favourites in the car. Not forgetting Elton John. Who, come 2020, I will have seen twice!

Condiments belong…
with everything! Mayonnaise on toast [SA ED – WHAT?!], vinegar on beans, tomato sauce on scrambled egg, these are my staples.

Things that leave me cold…
are people touching my neck – it gives me tingles; goosebumps and leaves me cold – all the bad feelings! Please: Stay. Away. From. My. Neck!

A cooked breakfast should…
definitely include: sausages, bacon, scrambled egg, beans, toast and plenty of hash browns. No tomatoes or mushrooms, thanks!

My vice is…
Sunday dinners – preferably pork or chicken with ALL the trimmings, especially (but not exclusive to) pigs in blankets, cauliflower cheese, Yorkshire puddings and bread sauce *drools*.

The most important thing in my life is…
family and friends and, of course, my dog Max (who is my family!)

Don’t get me started on…
planning holidays! I love weekends away with friends, cottage breaks with the dog, and city breaks – there are too many places that I NEED to see!

When I’m poorly…
I am generally curled up on the sofa, under a blanket with a hot water bottle and a Netflix binge on’t telly. Great ‘poorly food’ for me is pâté on toast or cheesy pasta.
