Time to pull up a pew and get your seat at the IC table – Social Smarts style
Last week, scarlettabbott held the inaugural Social Smarts evening. What’s that, you say? Simple, really. We know we’re in the privileged position to work with very smart clients, along with top names in the IC industry who work for some very prolific companies and brands.
We also know (because you tell us!) that our clients find it difficult, time consuming, expensive, and (dare we say it) sometimes a bit cheesy and boring (there, we said it) to attend networking event, after networking event, after… you get the picture.
So, Social Smarts was born. We invited a small group of smart IC pros to bring their expertise and experience to the table, and more importantly, tell us exactly what they’d like to learn and takeaway from the evening.
We came, we met, we drank, we ate, we covered four meaty topics, and what’s more, we had FUN while doing it. Views were aired, help was shared and ongoing contacts were made – all hopefully leading to strong support networks and collaborative ongoing relationships.
Here’s just a snippet of the IC best practice and future-thinking gems we discovered through great debate, a little drink, and some damn good grub.
